OUR RED WINES
As for red wines, we work with these varieties: Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache and Syrah. Each of our red wines has aged in new American and French Allier oak barrels.
Each of our varieties have done alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature.
Aliaga Gureaga is our unique and exclusive Rioja wine 70% Tempranillo and 30% Grenache that has been aged in barrels for 12 months. It is clean in nuances and ita has the taste of spices. Furthermore, it has a good entry into the mouth, full-bodied, round, long and persistent.
Our Aliaga Reserva de Familia wine (75% Tempranillo and 25% Cabernet Sauvignon) has aged in barrels for 14 months, being the longest aging wine. It has become one of the most special wines in the family, sporting a cherry red color with tile edges with lots of tears and a wide dress. On the nose it is clean, intense, broad in nuances, with toasted aromas of oak aging and a taste of spices. It has a good entry into the mouth, soft, full-bodied, round, very long and persistent.
Aliaga Patricia is our only 100% Tempranillo wine boasting a cherry color with hints of licorice and ripe fruit.
Aliaga Private Collection (80% Tempranillo and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon) is our unbeatable aging wine aged in barrels for 12 months. On the nose it is clean, intense, broad in nuances, with toasted aromas from the aging and very spicy. It has a good entry into the mouth, soft, full-bodied, round, very long and persistent.
Aliaga Helena Syrah Syrah, is one of the wines that leaves no one indifferent. After aging for 4 months, the wine has a dark cherry color with violet notes, becoming a contrast of sensations. Being an intense wine on the nose but an elegant and smooth wine on the other hand.
As for aging in barrels for 6 months, we highlight Aliaga Cuvee, and Aliaga Garnacha Vieja.
Aliaga Cuvee is 85% Tempranillo and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon. The mixture of both varieties has helped it to achieve a beautiful cherry color with tile edges, pleasant sparkles and a wide dress reaching a magnificent toasted oak aging aroma.
Aliaga Patricia is our only 100% Tempranillo wine boasting a cherry color with hints of licorice and ripe fruit.
Aliaga Garnacha Viñas Viejas is our characteristic 100% Garnacha wine from vineyards over 80 years old. This wine has captured a cherry color, capturing the aroma of blackberry both on the nose and in the mouth.
